NON-STOP
ROLLER for rolling fabric of any kind in line with another machine
whose production cycle is uninterrupted.
It consists of a special rocking accumulation unit with variable inclination
on which the fabric from the preceding machine is deposited.
From here, the fabric is taken by a series of motor-driven cylinders
with inverter, all running at the same speed, to prevent any tension,
and conveyed along an anti-reflection inclined plane for inspection for flaws.
A series of motor-driven spreader cylinders opens the fabric and removes
any creases or folded selvages.
After inspection the fabric is rolled on two cylinders, both adjustable,
with separate motors with inverter, to give the roll the necessary compactness.
The Roller unit consists of a carriage that moves crosswise, driven by an
edge
checker photocell, to center the roll automatically.
