EQUALIZING - STENTERING MACHINE
This is
an indispensable machine in the fabric finishing sector. It is used to bring
all types of fabric and knits evenly to the right width, giving them a high
quality appearance.
As the fabric passes through the mavhine's various work phases, it is constantly
held
on the selvages by two pin chains made of stainless steel.
The machine has an 8 mt. real work zone, of which 3.5 mt. are divergent and
4.5 mt. parallel.
In the divergent zone the fabric is advanced by cylinders (general advance)
and in addition by
two lateral rubberized wheels with indipendent motors with adjustable speed.
In the high temperature vapour tunnel made of stainless steel, the fabric
undergoes
the slackening of its fibres giving it the softness necessary in order to
raise it to the required width.
Condensation which may form is eliminated with an anti-condensation device.
In the parallel zone which is provided with a forced hot air drying furnace,
the fabric is thermally set, after which it is brought to room temperature
by passing
through a forced air cooling zone.
This is followed by the detachment from
the non-tension pin chain and the rolling onto a cardboard roll with the length
attached.
The fabric output can also be lap (the machine is supplied with a lap rolling
machine) or,
with the advantage of being non-stop, it can feed a successive rolling machine.
A very important particular is the possibility of requesting when ordering
a longer parallel zone,
thus increasing the drying capacity of the furnace and assuming the characteristics
of the Little Stenter.
