MODEL MERCURY

ROLLING MACHINE

The machine rolls fabrics rendering the weft width uniform; this is due
to the transport of the fabric taking place on a pin chain.
It has two processing zones: one divergent L=1 mt. in which the fabric,
pinned on the selvages, is raised to the desired width; the other parallel
L=0,5 mt. where the fabric is stabilized and rolled onto a
cardboard tube. At the input of the machine, two selvage feelers
check the edges of the fabric and, with precision, guide it onto
the pin chain. The chain-bearing mobile shoulders are operated by accurate
and fast oleodynamic pistons. At the output the fabric is contact rolled on
two cylinders with their speed differentiated in order to produce
rolls without tension which are compact.
The stop is automatic on the sfitching and a meter counter with card
states the length of the fabric.
The machine can be fed both by large roll and lap.
A machine with the same characteristics, but longer and with
the addition of a vapouriser group, which makes
it similar to an EQUALIZING MACHINE, can be supplied.
